What is Starlight Tarot?
Starlight Tarot is a free online tarot reading service you can enjoy right in your browser — no sign-up, no app, no payment. It uses the full 78-card deck in the Rider-Waite tradition, 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana, with carefully written upright and reversed interpretations for every card. The cards you draw and the questions you type are never stored anywhere — everything happens inside your browser, so read with peace of mind.
How it works
- Bring a question to mind — Picture what you want to ask, or type it in the box. The more specific the question, the clearer the cards' message: "What mindset do I need as I consider changing jobs?" works better than "Will things go well?"
- Choose a spread — Pick One Card for a quick message, Three Cards to see the flow, or the Celtic Cross to look deep into a situation.
- Pick your cards and read — From a freshly shuffled deck of 78, choose the cards your heart is drawn to, then flip them to reveal their meanings. You can save the result as an image or share it with friends.
Which spread should I choose?
- One Card — Best for a message of the day or a hint on a simple question. If you are new to tarot, start here.
- Three Cards — Reads your situation through the flow of past, present, and future. A classic layout that suits most questions about love, work, and relationships.
- Celtic Cross — The deepest spread: ten cards covering your current situation, obstacles, the subconscious, outside influences, and the final outcome.
Curious what each card means? The card meanings dictionary covers upright and reversed interpretations for all 78 cards. Each of the 22 Major Arcana also has an in-depth page with symbolism plus love and career readings. For spreads and how to ask good questions, see the tarot reading guide.
